Since joining Parker Hudson in April of 2017, I have had the good fortune of serving some wonderful clients and learning more about their business. Along the way, I completed approximately:
720,000 square feet of office leasing transactions;
100,000 square feet of retail leasing transactions; and
$242 million in purchase and sale transactions of commercial real estate.
This past summer, I concluded my term as a director on the board for Destiny’s Daughters of Promise. During my time, the board worked to raise the profile of the organization, as well find new ways to raise funds to pay for programming for the middle school and high school-aged girls who participate in mentoring. To that end, I helped organize an annual fundraising event to engage the business community in giving to DDP.
In July, I was selected as a member of the Urban Land Institute, Atlanta Council’s Center for Leadership Class of 2018. This opportunity has been one of the most personally rewarding of my career. I am currently working on a mini technical assistance panel with four other class members to assist a community stakeholder with an issue of urban revitalization.
I continued my role as an at-large member of the board of directors of the Real Estate Section for the Atlanta Bar Association, and participated in the planning of CLE and social events. In October, I organized a social outing to attend an Atlanta United soccer game at the new Mercedes Benz stadium.
I am thankful that I have had the honor of working with great people during my (just getting started) career, and for the opportunity to make some wonderful friends as well. I am looking forward to growing professionally in 2018 and hope I get to see you soon!
