The first six months of 2018 are behind us, and what a great first half of the year!
Commercial real estate is roaring in 2018 and I have worked on 320,000 square feet of office leasing transactions, $170M in office dispositions/acquisitions, and 60,000 square feet of retail leasing transactions. In addition, I wrapped up the successful representation of a pro bono client through Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, resulting in a favorable settlement. In February, I was selected as a Rising Star in Real Estate by Super Lawyers, and in May I graduated from ULI’s Center for Leadership. I’ve stayed involved with ULI, volunteering at the annual sporting clays invitational and through ULI’s UrbanPlan program, which engages high school, college, and graduate students on how to think holistically about community development. I am also excited to be joining the advisory board for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts as well as serving as the Treasurer for the Real Estate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association.
It hasn’t been all work though! I’ve had a few great trips with my family to Indian Rocks Beach, FL; St. George Island, FL; Gulf Shores, AL; and Springfield, OH, with a few day trips around ATL mixed in. Looking forward to any even better second half of 2018!
